RefinePro Platform is no longer available.

We built it because we were doing data engineering before anyone called it data engineering. A client would start with one extraction job, then a dozen, then a hundred — each written in whatever tool fit its source, each running on whatever server had room. Individually they were fine. Together they were unmanageable: no shared schedule, no way to see what had run, and no way to find out something had broken before the person downstream noticed the numbers were wrong.

The Platform was how we and our clients kept hundreds of those jobs coordinated. One place to run, schedule and monitor work written in any language, spread across different servers, with everyone looking at the same state. It carried real-time registry integration across 150+ sources for a healthcare compliance client, an RFP aggregation service for 100+ transit agencies, and a provider-validation platform handling 300+ registries and roughly 2.5 million records for a team working across five time zones.

There was no standard way to do this at the time. There is now: orchestration is a mature, well-served category, and work like this belongs on that tooling rather than on something custom.
