First Partnership with DST4L
Martin Magdinier | 04 November 2014
We are extremely happy to announce that RefinePro has signed a partnership with the Data Scientist Training for Librarians (DST4L) allowing all librarians who take the course to have access to the RefinePro platform for the next eight months (until June 2015). Through their RefinePro accounts, they will have access to their projects from multiple computers and be able to work on the latest version of OpenRefine.
DST4L is an experimental course being offered by the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics John G. Wolbach Library and the Harvard Library to train librarians to respond to the growing data needs of their communities.
Each DST4L curiculuum kicks off with two full days training on OpenRefine. OpenRefineās easy-to-use interface makes for a straight-forward way to introduce to data scientist topics. During the two days, the program covers the main functionality of OpenRefine including data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment.
Thanks to this partnership we will deepen our relationship with librarians and collect feedback on how we can improve our platform.
Are you a member of DST4L? Check your mailing list for details on how to benefit from this partnership. Welcome on board!
